Blue Diamond Pumps service kits will assist you in maintaining that the pump is functioning at proper airflow levels. The Blue Diamond air pumps are diaphragm-operated pumps. Like all diaphragm operated pumps the diaphragms eventually wear out. When this happens you can replace the air pump, or you can simply replace the diaphragms 1. Check your pump for busted diaphragms BEFORE purchase 2. If your pump is running louder than normal/not pumping air (but has power) your diaphragms are likely blown 3. Red Dust inside lid/pump indicates magnet will need to be replaced as well – when replacing magnet, the white dot on the magnet should face the air outlet (when facing pump - power cord on left/air outlet on right) 4. If you do not get the desired airflow after installation of kit/magnet, please reinstall the kit and FLIP the magnet (for polarity) 5. Refer to the installation video below in the video section.
